This is the 1285.5 lb state and national record blue marlin caught during our billfish tournament last Friday. It is the largest blue marlin ever weighed in a billfish tournament, the largest caught in the US and the second largest in the world. These are some pictures taken at sea. It was 15 feet long, 8 feet in girth and was probably about 20 years old. If you think it doesnt look that big in the cockpit remember this is a 70 foot boat.
